Lindy Yoannidis is a sculptor/ installation artist residing in Eora/ Sydney. Her work reflects a fascination for the natural world, particularly the transition zones between land and sea, the desert and bush, and marine forms and landscapes. Her work reflects an attention to detail, inspired by coastal walks, aerial views from flights over Australia, diving and cultural experiences in both Australia and Southeast Asia.

Using organic material such as wood, clay, sticks, leaves, bark and spices, her work draws on the artistic brushstrokes of nature capturing pattern, form, texture and rhythm.

Her lifelong passion for art has only more recently been realised. Emerging from a career in Social Work, Lindy studied Fine Arts at Tafe between 2012 and 2021 completing both her Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Visual Arts before commencing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at National Art School in 2022.

She won the Waverley Woollahra Art School Sculpture class prize in 2019 and has exhibited in over 10 exhibitions throughout Sydney.
